Jun. 12, 2021. After a two-year absence due to Covid-19, the six-time world champion Arizona Rattlers took on the Tucson Sugar Skulls at the recently renovated Phoenix Suns Arena in downtown Phoenix. (The arena just completed a $300 million renovation.) Almost 5,800 loud fans watched as quarterback Drew Powell led the Rattlers to beat the Sugar Skulls, 44-34.
