Oct. 14, 2016. An astonishing 1 in 3 students in Arizona admitted to feeling sad or hopeless. One in 5 admitted to having seriously contemplated suicide. To turn this around, a connection of hope for teens has been established in Teen Lifeline; the only peer counseling hotline in Arizona. Announced at the gala was The National Ambassador George Benson, Jazz musician best known for the song "On Broadway". and Tom Hatten. Tom was the Connections of Hope Honoree. He's the founder and CEO of Mountainside Fitness Gyms. Connections of Hope was held at Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia.
