Stained oak cabinetry wraps around the leather headboard. The soffit continues with the same leather while mirroring the shape of the bed. Dark tones and natural materials create a relaxed but dramatic effect. The area rug geometry restates the shapes of the headboard and ceiling. The curved seating piece swivels for watching TV, which is hidden in the chest at the foot of the bed, or to enjoy the view. The corner of the room opens in both directions with pocketing doors, so the bedroom becomes part of the pool and patio.
