Santa has added a new stop to his list of destinations this year: the beautiful Encanterra Country Club in San Tan Valley. We spoke with Encanterra residents Mike and Carol Salter, who were instantly drawn to the endless corridors of golfing grounds, picturesque mountain views, quality homes and exceptional customer service. For the Salters, the holidays at Encanterra have encouraged new traditions and festivities.

A: People are from all over the country, many people from the Midwest (Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois), Canada, California and the Pacific Northwest who like us welcome the year round good weather! Several couples from the east coast as well.

Q: Do you stay at Encanterra year-round?
A: Encanterra is our permanent home. We both work full time here.

Q: Besides golf, what are some other activities you enjoy doing together and with friends and family?
A: We enjoy spending time at the community pool, joining friends at La Casa, working out at the fitness center, walking in the community and riding bikes in the area.

A: Yes. Encanterra is a great place for us now while we’re still working and we look forward to living here also during our retirement years!
