Rumor has it we’ll see some economical improvements in 2012; that, according to Mary E. Dixon, Ph.D., a certified astrologer.  Yes, I know many of us are skeptical to believe the stars, but why not hold onto a little cosmic hope as we kick off the new year? 

Mary E. Dixon, Ph.D. is listed in the Psychic Blue Book of Los Angeles, and has taught Astrology at the University level.  Her clientele is quite diverse, including renowned entertainers and politicians—names of which she’s unable to release.  However, Dixon does say the stars have quite a lot to say about our past, present, and future. 

Yesterday we broke down the signs—basically what your birth month says about you; but today, we’re dishing all about astrology, and what the stars are saying about 2012.

Dixon says astrology is a science of observation of human behavior and world events as they occur in conjunction with planetary movements, and these observations have been passed down by oral and written traditions for thousands of years.   The predictive side of Astrology is possible by understanding planetary causes and effects from the past, and how similar planetary configurations repeat themselves. 

She says learning about the stars makes us more aware of timing--when to act and when to wait before making  decisions. In other words, the planets have a way in guiding our fate.  In addition, learning how each sign communicates is a wonderful tool for success in all relationship situations.  Truth be told, not all of us are cosmic believers, but Dixon feels a planetary understanding helps us handle life’s trials and tribulations, and allows people to feel more free, more capable and more empowered. 

And here’s a reason to feel empowered, things shouldn’t get much worse 2012—according to Dixon.  She says the planets will remain fairly stationary through November…I suppose no news is good news.  However, that means the issues of 2011 will remain stagnant, in addition to minor advancements in housing, education, and the military.  According to the stars (and Dixon), it will still be a non-agreement year in congress (go figure!), even though foreign affairs heats up and demand action.  Some laws will be challenged, but not changed for the public benefit. Also, more about the inner workings of the financial institutions will come out.  While this is a slight buzz-kill, she does have some good news.  Dixon says the entertainment world will come together for a powerful united front in forcing some major issues.  In relation, religions of all kinds will form a legal group with the power to get things done. Luckily, both will be effective.  And even though we just entered January, Dixon says the final months of 2012 will clear a positive path into 2013.  Apparently we’ll see an increase in jobs and an optimistic energy.  Let’s hope she’s right.

In 2012, Aries will see much peace and tranquility; projects and efforts formally in the back-burner shall come to the fore-ground.  Taurus will rework and revamp their lives—good things are in the forecast.  It will be an eventful year for the Gemini, moving forward with new ideas and goals.  Cancers will see major relationship changes, but peace and serenity will prevail.  Leos will see new, interesting developments in 2012 and communication among co-workers will remain positive.  Virgos will use their creative abilities to better express themselves, and perhaps encounter some trying times.  Libras will be much happier and content, feeling a greater sense of empowerment.  Scorpios will take on new projects, while passing through a challenging stage of life.  Those in Sagittarius will be free from former difficulties, getting a much needed dose of social enhancement.  Capricorns will have a spiritual and peaceful year, while Aquarius will enjoy the fruits of their 2011 labor.  And finally, Pisces.  This will be a much calmer year compared to the hustle and bustle of 2011.
