Walters’ limits himself to 2 dogs a week—his favorite is the “chili cheese sloppy;” fork and knife required.  And lucky for all those weight watchers, calories simply don’t exist at Pittsburg Willy’s; he says it’s just a place to indulge and enjoy.

“We pride ourselves in good food and old-fashion service.”

Walters’ business is surely booming, thanks to the love and support from his family.  He’s been married for quite some time, and says the key to a successful relationship includes laughter, respect, and enjoying hog dogs in the company of one another.

“I’m trying to re-create the experiences I had growing up.”

Sadly, Walters’ father passed away about 25 years ago, never witnessing his son’s dream come true.  However, his Pittsburgh pop frequents Willy’s in spirit.  No doubt, dad would definitely be proud.
