“Getting sweaty and working out with your significant other is always a good thing to do,” said Adrian Dahlstedt (known as AJ), General Manager, Arizona World of Baseball.

Work up a sweat and swing away; the 25,000 square foot facility is a hot and unique Valley date place.  It opened eleven years ago, becoming the area’s first major indoor batting hub located in the heart of Tempe.  Inside, you’ll find 8 cages, 16 hitting stages, and 3 pitching areas.  It’s the perfect place to warm up with your woman.

Yep, you’ll see her in action, and you’ll also likely see sporty celebs.  Adrian Dahlstedt is the General Manager of Arizona World of Baseball.  He says many local major leaguers frequent the cages perfecting their savvy skills.  Plus, the facility offers hitting classes, and all instructors are former pros.

“One of the guys run the Diamondback’s scout team, and the other is affiliated with the Angels.”

Dahlstedt was born and raised in AZ, went to Chaparral High School, and now spends his days at his Tempe shop.  Nothing beats being surrounded by everything baseball for the 33 year old, and he says it’s a joy watching people of all ages get behind the bat.

And Dahlstedt says your lady will fit right in during your unique date.  Get this-- 15-20% of regulars are women, and gals make up 30-40% of the lessons.
