And chances are your man’s mind is simply on pleasing you. Yep, he’s constantly concerned on whether or not he’s “good” enough.  Cohen says this especially comes into play with a new partner.

“It doesn’t help that many women are uncomfortable saying what does and does not give her pleasure.”

So Cohen suggests kindly letting a man know what you enjoy—and a little bit of friendly direction can’t hurt.  (In other words, steer clear of being insulting…he’s very sensitive about his sexual talents!)

As I dug deeper into the male mind, Cohen revealed another worry—whether or not he’ll stay erect.  Here’s the deal.  Cohen says men of any age can experience this type of thing, and it’s actually quite normal.  She says there are a number of reasons why a guy can all-of-a-sudden fall limp, especially when he’s stressed out.

“Often times when he thinks about it too much, it’s going to be a problem.”

Last, but surely not least.  We lovely ladies have mastered multi-tasking, while our magnificent male counterparts simply focus on the task at hand.  Let me explain.  While women can be thinking about a laundry list of stuff during sex, men are just enjoying it.  (A key reason why they orgasm easier!)  Women need emotion and connection—a lot happens between the ears even during intercourse.  If she’s depressed, mad, anxious, etc, it will be harder for her to finish; while for a man, it’s just about getting down and dirty!
