Halle Berry, Bret Michaels, Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, and all twelve finalists from the 2011 “American Idol”…need I say more?

Yes, celebs galore are taking over the Valley and you have a chance to star gaze—that is, for quite a hefty price.

If your pockets are full of Benjamins—and we’re talking $2,000-$5,000, then you just bought yourself a seat at the 17th Annual Celebrity Fight Night, a star-studded celebration benefitting the Muhammad Ali Parkinson Center at Barrow Neurological Institute, along with other charities.

“This black-tie event is unique because it allows people to mingle with celebrities and watch the stars interact with one another...something they would rarely get the chance to do,” said Sean Currie, Celebrity Fight Night Executive Director.

Roll out the red carpet!

When the clock strikes 5pm on Saturday, March 19th, A-list actors and athletes will unite at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge, joining Valley big-wigs inside the ballroom.  Country’s classic Grammy Award-winner Reba McEntire is returning as the event’s emcee, entertaining those lucky enough to land a spot at the soiree.

The night will kick off with a performance from Matchbox Twenty, followed by America’s “first” idol, Kelly Clarkson.  And speaking of the FOX-TV hit, following the opening act, all 12 “American Idol” 2011 finalists will rock the crowd with an exclusive piece.

“We really never know which celebrity will be the most memorable,” said Currie.

During a five-course feast, Bret Michaels will take to the stage, along with “America’s Got Talent” singing sensation, Jackie Evancho.  You’ll also get a chance to laugh a little, courtesy of stand-up stints by Billy Crystal and Sinbad.

And that’s not all.

What’s a glamorous gala without an after-bash?  Kevin Coster and his band will provide the post-party entertainment.

But of course, let’s not forget the history of Fight Night, and why these celebs are Arizona-bound.

In 1994, long-time local and businessman, Jimmy Walker introduced Fight Night to the Valley.  His goal was to produce a posh, premiere event that would raise money for local organizations—and lucky for Walker, his wish came true.

“All these years, Walker has seen every detail through.  This event is his baby.”

Since its inception, the famed fundraiser has raised nearly $65 million, thanks to main players who joined Walker in his endeavor.
