Walk in the front lobby and it’s a blast from the past.

Tasteful retro furniture sets the scene, surrounded by glass walls over-looking the chic pool.

It’s the place to stay for the season we’ve all been waiting for.

Spring Training is right around the corner, and Scottsdale’s Hotel Valley Ho is the hotspot to be seen.

“The whole hotel is full of Oakland A’s. We have their current players and past players for at least one entire weekend during Spring Training,” said Andrew Chippindall, the General Manager of Hotel Valley Ho.

Andrew Chippindall joined the Valley Ho team about six years ago, right before the hotel got re-vamped.

Originally, the unique low-rise building opened its doors to guests in 1956, but in 2005, Valley Ho got an $80-million make-over, giving it a clean, hip updated look.

Since then, Chippindall says the grounds continue to attract many A-list musicians and athletes, and if you keep your eyes peeled, you just might spot a celeb.

“We tend to do very well during Spring Training with NFL footballers here to train in the Valley. A lot of people aren’t really aware of it. Players from the Broncos and the Giants tend to stay here for an extended period of time.”

The hotel is known for its sexy studio suites. They are larger than a standard guest-room, coming in at about 500 square feet.
