“People are really going outside the box."
But there’s one box you must stay inside, and that’s your budget.
Our Scottsdale wedding planner proposes getting started a year in advance, in turn, saving you money while searching for most economical things.
And we all know saying “I do’s” can get pretty pricey. Petrovsky says she’s planned celebrations exceeding $500,000, but that’s quite an over-the-top ordeal.
“Nowadays you’re really looking at $50,000 when it’s all said and done. 50% of your budget goes to food and beverage, the other 50% goes to everything else, so you really need to think that way.”
To throw a local bash, she says count on $100-$125 a head, so you might want to consider a less expensive venue if money doesn’t grow on trees in your neck of the woods. In fact, Petrovsky says some of the most memorable marriage celebrations she’s planned have taken place in a budget-friendly backyard.
“Consider thinking classic and simple.”
That simplicity will provide you with a sensational event you and your groom will savor.
However, when push comes to shove, it’s not really about the wedding; rather, ringing in a happily ever after of marital bliss.
