October 29, 2010 (Scottsdale, Ariz.)- We have reached the halfway point of this years contest! Some are losing their momentum, and races are tight. This week we are examining close races in the Restaurants & Food and Golf categories- help us determine the clear winners by casting your votes!
Food & Restaurants tight races include:
Best Asian Cuisine or Sushi- Blue Wasabi with 30.81% of votes and Pure Sushi with 30.34% of vote Best Burger- bluburger grille with 29.83% of votes and The Grind AZ with 30.16% of votes
Golf tight races include:
- Best Golf Community- Encanterra with 39.01% of votes and Mirabel with 58.51% of votes
- Most Challenging Course- The North Course at the Boulders with 32.02% of votes and Pinnacle at Troon North with 43.62% of votes
- Best Clubhouse Spa- Mirabel with 50.93% of the votes and Encanterra with 48.33% of the votes
For a third week in a row, Top Twitterer candidate Johnjay Van Es has the most votes of all nominees- and with that comes an awesome prize.
The one Best Of Our Valley nominee with the most total votes at the end of the two-month long contest will be dubbed "The Coolest Thing in the Valley" and be featured on the cover of the Best Of Our Valley March 2011 issue in an Arizona Foothills-styled shoot.
