Adopt + Shop Event at Almost There Foster Care

Sweeten up your Saturday with a new fur-friend. Two Pups Wellness Fund and Community Canine Project have teamed up to create a one of a kind Adopt + Shop filled with adult dogs eager to find their forever home. Every adoption will include a $100 gift card to PetSmart, wellness check and a family photo. In addition to adorable potential pets, there will also be food trucks and pop-up shops from local vendors. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Chato’s Kitchen” at Herberger Theatre Center  

At 1 p.m., Childsplay Theatre will perform one of Soto’s most amusing works. Follow East L.A. cat, Chato, as he schemes against his new neighbors. Aged 30 or 3, the humor in “Chato’s Kitchen” is difficult to deny. Tickets range from $12 to $32. Attendees can expect an hour-long show followed by a Q&A.

Wonderspaces: Elsewhere at Scottsdale Fashion Square

Festival of the Superstitions at Flatiron Community Park

Pay a visit to Apache Junction’s new Flatiron Community Park while reveling in the view of Superstition Mountains’ fall landscape. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., the park welcomes locals to a day filled with local artisans, live entertainment, a pet costume parade, a pie-eating contest, car show, bounce houses and so much more.
