Cave Creek’s Third of July Fireworks Extravaganza
This rustic town in northern Phoenix will host the holiday event on July 3 at three of its well-known restaurants: Harold’s Corral, the Buffalo Chip Saloon, and Cave Creek Tap Haus. Each restaurant will offer various games, food specials, and live music, and a free shuttle will be available to travel the city from 6 p.m. to midnight. Fireworks will go off at sunset from behind the restaurants, and reserved seating is available at 5:30 p.m. for $10 and up. Fourth of Zoo-ly at Phoenix Zoo
The Phoenix Zoo will hold a special celebration for families this year with food, games, and a special “VIP view” for guests to see the firework show at Tempe Town Lake. A BBQ on the Lakeside Lawn will be held from 7 to 8:30 p.m., with special animal guests until 9 p.m., when everyone will gather in the back of the zoo for fireworks. Chairs are not needed. Second Annual Red, White & Rawhide
This attraction in Chandler known for its Old West stunt shows and stagecoach rides will host its second annual July 4 celebration, with a variety of live concerts and an evening fireworks display. Event-goers can eat at Rawhide’s numerous restaurants, ride a mechanical bull, and even pan for gold. From 5 to 11 p.m. on July 4, tickets are $15 in advance and $20 same-day.
