This April, Miracle Mile Deli is turning its iconic hot pastrami sandwich into a force for good, supporting Make-A-Wish Arizona in honor of World Wish Month.

For every traditional hot pastrami sandwich sold in April, the deli will donate $1 to the organization, helping fund wishes for children with critical illnesses. It’s a small gesture that adds up quickly, especially considering the deli serves more than 5,000 of its signature sandwiches each month.

“Giving back has always been part of who we are,” Owner Josh Garcia said. “We’ve been part of this community for decades and supporting organizations like Make-A-Wish Arizona is one way we can show up for the families who support us every day.”

The timing is especially significant. World Wish Month marks the anniversary of the very first wish granted in 1980 to Chris Greicius, a moment that sparked the creation of the Make-A-Wish movement in Arizona. Since then, Make-A-Wish Arizona has granted more than 8,500 wishes to children across the state, bringing hope, joy, and strength to families during some of their most challenging times.

The need, however, continues to grow. Nationally, thousands of children are diagnosed with critical illnesses each year, and each one becomes eligible for a wish experience designed to uplift and inspire. Community-driven efforts like this one play an important role in helping ensure those wishes can become reality.

Customers can take part in the initiative all month long by ordering the deli’s classic hot pastrami sandwich. While the promotion is limited to the traditional sandwich and does not include specialty pastrami items, the impact remains just as meaningful. Learn more at Miracle Mile Deli.
