The COVID-19 pandemic has come with a lot of grief, but 2020 grads missing spring semester and rites of passage like graduation has been especially heartbreaking to hear. Imagine never having the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see classmates one last time, don caps and gowns and walk across the stage to accept a hard-earned diploma.  

Schnepf Farms, which has been selling-out drive-in movies during the quarantine, has the genius plan to book drive-through graduations, so students can still experience commencement ceremonies and be acknowledged for their accomplishments.

How does it work? Families will drive up to a lot in their cars and tune into a specified radio station to hear all the traditional speeches and fanfare. When it's time to honor each student, they will take turns leaving their cars, crossing the stage and accepting their diplomas from faculty, before returning to their families.

Traditional? Not exactly. Brilliant, nonetheless!
