Home Features Features Local First Arizona and Kimber Lanning Welcome Arizona Fall Fest

You might already know of Kimber Lanning as the woman who founded Local First Arizona. While this is true, Lanning also contributes much more to our community than what we see on the surface. Her passions stem from the state of Arizona and the cities within, making her an avid community development specialist and entrepreneur. She has also won many awards including Citizen Leader of the Year in 2014, was named “One of the Most Influential Women in Arizona” in 2011 and was one of Arizona Foothills’ Women Who Move the Valley. Lanning has dedicated her life and career to elevate the everyday in the Grand Canyon State. She says, “This is my home, this is my state, and I want to leave it better than I found it.” Eager to learn more? You can join Lanning and Local First Arizona at the 2019 Arizona Fall Fest, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Arizona Fall Fest has celebrated everything lovely and local to Arizona for 15 consecutive years. When Lanning first hosted the event, there was only enough space for 27 vendors to participate. Arizona Fall Fest has now blossomed, featuring over 200 Arizona operated business booths. You’ll also find some of the best food and beverage offerings in the state, as well as local talent performances. Not to mention a kid zone, sport zone and private auction. Children of all ages will enjoy crafts and activities sponsored by Sprouts Farmers Market. Fall in love with Arizona all over again as the temperature cools down just in time for this outdoor festival at Hance Park in Phoenix.

Lanning has created a wholesome tradition for families as they continue to celebrate our state year after year. She says, “This is an event that is all about discovery, celebration and community.” Attendees will enjoy learning about the countless wonders that make up Arizona and its unique environment. Arizona Fall Fest works hard to ensure that sustainability in our cities and businesses is improved and made aware of. Lanning herself also gives speeches at local events and outings to inspire our citizens that they too can make a positive impact on our state. Join in on the fun and show your love for the Grand Canyon State at the 2019 Arizona Fall Fest.
