Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central and Northern Arizona will host their Heart of the House Island Party at the iconic Hotel Valley Ho on Saturday, October 15 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. 

The Hawaiian-themed fundraising event celebrates and supports the organization’s mission of providing temporary homes for children and their families who are receiving medical care away from home. 

Guests will enjoy an evening of island-style fun featuring silent and live auctions, a hosted cocktail reception, acoustic entertainment from the Valley’s premier duo J Forte and Hawaiian steel drum beats from the Volcano Island Band, as well as dinner and dessert poolside under the stars. The Island Party also includes complimentary valet and the chance to win an unforgettable vacation through the annual Trip Raffle. 

The lucky winner of the Trip Raffle will select one of four amazing vacation packages: Beautiful Belize Excursion, Punta Cana Caribbean Paradise, Disney World Family Adventure or Costa Rica Island Getaway. 

The Trip Raffle is currently open to the public and will close on October 14 at 12 p.m. Participants can purchase a single raffle ticket for $20 or a pack of six tickets for $107, which covers the cost of a night of rest for a family at a Ronald McDonald Charity House. You do not need to attend the event to win the raffle, although attendees will have the chance to purchase additional tickets at the Island Party before the winner is announced. 

To match the Island Party’s aloha theme, event attendees are asked to wear Island Chic attire. If you can’t attend the event, you can still “hula” with Ronald McDonald House Charities® by donating an auction item and entering the Trip Raffle.
