Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Central and Northern Arizona (RMHCCNAZ) will host its FORE the House Golf Tournament on Monday, April 25, 2022, at Papago Golf Club in Phoenix. The crucial funds raised during this year’s tournament will support RMHCCNAZ’s mission of providing a “home-away-from-home” for families who travel to the Valley seeking critical medical care for their children by providing nights of comfort and rest at no charge.
Leading the charge as presenting sponsor of the tournament benefiting the organization is Tyson Foods, a longstanding supporter of RMHCCNAZ. “Our company purpose is to raise the world’s expectations for how much good food can do and we’re living that purpose through 40 years of support for RMHC Chapters globally,” said Nick Beach, Director of Sales, McDonald’s Business Unit at Tyson Foods. “We’re proud of the instrumental role we’ve played in helping RMHCCNAZ expand its reach in our community and are excited to support their efforts!”
The event will kick off with a shotgun start at 10:30 a.m. and will conclude with a 19th Hole Reception at the clubhouse, a new element to the revamped tournament. Activities will include a morning drink bar, ball drop raffle, and a reception celebrating the mission of Ronald McDonald House®. The tournament is co-chaired by board members Craig Crosby, Director of Security & Safety Services/Safety Officer at Phoenix Children’s Hospital, and Matt Salata, Vice President, Business Development & Premium Sales with the Phoenix Suns.
“We are thrilled to launch this new take on our golf tournament with the incredible support of Tyson Foods and leadership of Craig and Matt,” said Kerry Schulman, CEO of RMHCCNAZ. “There is always magic when the community comes together to support our mission of keeping families together when it matters most.”
In addition to Tyson Foods, other current sponsors include JFQ Lending, Phoenix Suns, and La-Z-Boy Arizona.
