Apricus Health Launches the Apricus Foundation Dedicated to Making Quality Healthcare Accessible for Underserved Community Members
Apricus Foundation Hosts Two Upcoming Events: The Prestigious Gala Event on October 29 and CME Educational Conference on October 30
Apricus Health, an innovative technology-enabled value-based care healthcare company, today announced the launch of the Apricus Foundation. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit’s purpose is to make quality healthcare accessible to everyone in the community. The Apricus Foundation aims to address inequalities in healthcare by setting up clinics in underserved communities to provide robust services to treat chronic diseases, telehealth, support for behavioral health treatments and free educational events.
“We’re passionate about reaching those most in need and expanding the healthcare community’s collective knowledge,” said Preeti Singh, Apricus Foundation board member. “By providing a comprehensive array of services and free medical information, we can help make a strong impact in local communities, increase wellness and improve the delivery of medical care for all.”
To raise funds to establish medical clinics in underserved communities, the foundation is hosting a gala event on October 29, 2021 at the JW Marriott Phoenix Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. A special awards ceremony at the event will honor outstanding individuals or organizations for their contributions to excellence in healthcare, including those who have gone the extra mile during the pandemic. In the spirit of giving back to those in the healthcare community, the foundation is also organizing a CME Educational Conference on October 30, 2021 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa; this event will be offered virtually as well. Primary care physicians across Arizona are expected to attend to receive education credits.
