This month, people all over the world are flocking to the golden state of California for one thing. No, it’s not the beach, nor Disneyland. It’s another place of euphoria and excitement: the 2nd Annual Barrett-Jackson Orange County Auction.
This installment of the ongoing celebration of Barrett-Jackson’s 40th anniversary is a milestone of its own as the expected attendance for the event has grown tremendously since its first occurrence in Orange County, California, last year.
It will surely be every car-lover’s heaven. The auction’s early consignments are already ones that’ll get your engine roaring. If you loved collecting Hot Wheels, you can only imagine the collection of cars that’ll be on hand for you to see up-close and in person.
Besides all the dreamy vehicles and three-day auction from June 24 to June 26, Barrett-Jackson will start the party early!
Starting June 18, Barrett-Jackson will hit the streets of California with a variety of events. The 2nd Annual Road Rally at the South Coast Plaza will kick everything off, followed by a mini car show at the main venue, the OC Fair and Event Center.
On June 19, drivers will unite to show off their hot rods during the 2nd Annual Cruise-In at Connell Chevrolet. There, car lovers can come out and (with or without their cars) and marvel. Then, Barrett-Jackson will tee up for the OC Tourism Golf Classic at the Strawberry Farms Golf Club, June 21.
For the eve of the auction, the special opening night gala and designer fashion show will pump up the ante on June 23.
Kicking off bright and early in the morning of June 24 until the end of the auction on June 26, the big event is opened to the public. The amazing car collection will be put on display, accompanied by sponsors and vendors. Throughout the day, the whole family can enjoy events such as the Ford and GM “Ride ‘N Drives,” hourly Ford drifting, and more- there’s something for everyone.
From the west coast to the east, car enthusiasts know that Barrett-Jackson auctions are not to be missed out on.
