There are so many “fad” diets flying around the Internet for weight loss, but while cutting and limiting certain food groups, taking in all the nutrients your body needs can be easily overlooked. Eyes are one of the most important parts of the body to keep healthy. In honor of National Eye Health Week from Sept. 21 to Sept. 27, Dr. Roger B. Ethington, OD, of Southwestern Eye Center, gives his tips for following an eye-healthy diet.
Oct. 3: Cruise for Wildlife
Nature enthusiasts all over the Valley are counting the days until Liberty Wildlife’s first-ever Cruise for Wildlife.
The cruise will be led by Clint Sutter, certified captain and Lake Pleasant expert, who will share his knowledge about the surrounding area and the native peoples who once inhabited it. If timing is right, guests may encounter wild bald eagles and other Arizona wildlife as they explore miles of hidden canyons and scenic shorelines. Aurora, Liberty Wildlife’s very own bald eagle, will join the crew on board for complimentary photo ops.
