Arizona Cardinals' running back David Johnson is continuing to use the power behind his athletic success to better the community by hosting Johnson Family: Agents of Change event on Tuesday, October 23rd at 6:30pm at Mountain Shadows. Johnson Family: Agents of Change event will benefit The Johnson’s Family Mission 31 Foundation, whose mission is to provide opportunities and resources to seriously ill children and their families by offering daily support and life changing experiences.

2018 WM Phoenix Open and The Thunderbirds Raise Record-Breaking $12.2 Million

The Thunderbirds, hosts of the Waste Management Phoenix Open Presented by The Ak-Chin Indian Community, raised a record $12.2 million ($12,213,207) for local charities through proceeds from the 2018 tournament, Thunderbirds Big Chief Carlos Sugich recently announced.

Phoenix Rescue Mission Launches Holiday Donations Campaign

Phoenix Rescue Mission has launched its second-annual “HOMELESS FOR THE HOLIDAYS” campaign with the hope that the Valley’s homeless and disadvantaged populations do not go hungry this holiday season. 

The nonprofit is currently is in need of food, water, hygiene items, new socks, toys, volunteers and monetary donations to support the Homeless for the Holidays campaign. The campaign runs through Dec. 31.

On November 12, 2013 Audra Sanders, her mother Carol, as well as her uncle Tom Fitzpatrick were murdered by Audra’s father. It was a fall afternoon, like any other except that four lives in a quiet Central Phoenix neighborhood would be ended in a horrific act of domestic violence. The murder-suicide quickly dominated local and even national news.
