Tonight marks the return of Artlink's 18th Annual Juried Exhibition, a one night only exhibition showcasing some of our state’s talented artists.
Head downtown and enjoy what promises to be a wonderful exhibition and evening celebrating art with Artlink. This year’s exhibition will hold its exhibition at the prestigious Heard Museum in the Steele Auditorium from 6:00 to 9:00pm tonight. The Heard Museum is located in midtown Phoenix’s Central Arts District at 2301 N. Central Avenue.
Artlink received 256 submissions this year, most in its 18-year history with artwork being selected by a distinguished panel of prominent members of the Phoenix arts community. The Jury Panelists included Nancy Hill, owner of Chartreuse, prominent valley artist Fred Tieken who has exhibited his work national, and Ann Marshall, Ph.D., the Heard Museum's director of Curation and Education. 45 Arizona artists were selected to participate in this year's highly anticipated exhibition and it will showcase 50 works of art in various mediums. Three artists have been selected by the panel to receive generous cash rewards ranging from $5,000 to $750 and the winners will be announced tonight during the reception.
Visitors will enjoy painting, mixed media, photography and sculpture from an impressive list of artists including: Samantha Aasen, Bob Allen, Gary Beals, Brian Boner, Lexi Coburn, Heidi Dauphin, Jeff Falk, Page Filson, Gloria Gaddis, Jose Giron, Zarco Guerrero, Isadora Hale, Charles Harker, Dan Hoglund, Carlos Ibarra, Damian Jim, Kristine Kollasch, Lauren Lee, Rachel Linnemeier, Cheryle Marine, Hugo Medina, Rocco Menaguale, Ann Morton, Danny Neumann, Dan Pederson, Diego Perez, Wayne Rainey, Jill Roig, Melissa Schleuger, Mary Serantoni, Diane Silver, Jason Smith, Laura Spalding Best, Kathy Taylor, Mohan Toopal, AO Tucker, Zach Valent, Chris Vena, Onna Voellmer, Jon Wassom, Joan Waters, Esther Wodrich, Niki Woehler, Danielle Wood and Frank Ybarra.
