Photographs were important tools for the artist utilizing them in her artwork as well as a strong family connection to photography, as both her grandfather and father were professional photographers.  According to the Heard, “The exhibition does not intend to depict a chronological biography, but rather to exhibit parts of the personal history of an artist, of a country and of a period.” This exhibition is displayed on six areas of importance “Frida’s Loves and Photography”, “Her Broken Body”, “The Blue House,” “The Origins,” “Politics,” “Revolutions and Diego”.
