This Thursday, April 2nd, 2015 from 7 pm until 9 pm head to Old Town Scottsdale for the 2nd Annual “Spring into the Arts” ArtWalk. Hosted by the Scottsdale Gallery Association in partnership with the City of Scottsdale.

The weekly Scottsdale ArtWalk features a diverse selection of galleries highlighting both local and national artwork, artist studios, incredible public art, and museums. Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities including artist demonstrations, live music, wine and food samplings, and more! It is time to explore the local shops, excellent bars and local restaurants that Old Town Scottsdale has to offer. The Scottsdale ArtWalk is located along Main Street and Marshall Way in Scottsdale and visitors can ride the Scottsdale Trolley for free until 9 pm every Thursday!

There are many galleries offering exceptional exhibitions and events this month including Gebert Contemporary who is currently featuring local artist John Randall Nelson with his solo exhibition “Flowers”. Flowers focuses on botanical vernacular extending beyond science to provocatively touch on the metaphors of romance, fecundity and life cycles.

While Calvin Charles Gallery, featuring PIVOT: One Man Show by PASCAL. The evening will kick off at 6pm running until 9pm with a cocktail reception and the opportunity to donate to Gabriel's Angels and have a chance to win a beautiful wall sculpture with the purchase of a $25.00 raffle ticket. Calvin Charles Gallery is located at 4201 North Marshall Way, Scottsdale.

Also be sure to stop by Tilt Gallery showcasing the work of local artist Casebeer with "Everything is Fine Here", a brilliant body of work stemming from a non fictional novel that she is currently creating that explores the artworks and marginalia as a working outline for the book are about "the proverbial elephant in the room, this new body of work will have elements of mental mapping by way of illustration, the writing of related stories surrounding the question, Is it just the brain, or is it something else." Tilt Gallery is located at 7077 East Main Street, Scottsdale.
