Canal Convergence returns for its third consecutive year, offering fun and innovative events that highlight artworks by local and international artists, hands-on activities, live music, performances, and the Artisan Market.

Canal Convergence centers around the themes of water, art, and light and takes place on the banks of the Arizona Canal between Soleri and Marshall Way bridges at the Scottsdale Waterfront. Located at the Scottsdale Waterfront 4420 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, the Canal Convergence kicks off on February 26th and runs through March 1st.

There are is a wonderful group of artists participating in this year’s Canal Convergence and they have created some amazing installations including Play Array by Urban MatterMy Your Our Water by Erin V. SotakThe Pool by Jen LewinThe Artwork Forge by Toby Fraley, ...the Garden Grows: BioMe by Karrie HoveyMigration by Saskia JordaAutumn/Spring Pavillion: Desert Series by Joy Holland and The Office of Environmental Responsibility - To-go Lid Division by Mimi Jardine.  These artists have created engaging interactive artworks and installations, which will be on view throughout the event! Scottsdale Public Art has planned an exciting 4-day schedule for this years Canal Convergence, so mark your calendars and get out and enjoy art, music and light. The Canal Convergence event is free and open to all ages, however a special a special story-telling event “Water Logged”, which is a ticketed event presented by Scottsdale Public Art and the Phoenix New Times. “Water Logged” features a great line-up of guests including Michael Grady, Tania Katan, Laurie Notaro, Kim Porter, and Tom Zoellner, promising to be an entertaining evening. This special event is held on February 27th running from 7-9pm and the cost for is just $9.50 per person and tickets can be purchased through the Scottsdale Performing Arts. This event is generously sponsored by SRP.
