The pARTy in the Garden commences at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour. Acclaimed Valley vocalist and pianist Luke Holton will grace guests with his enchanting melodies while being among the first to exclusively view the Arizona premiere of the exhibit, Multiple Realities Experimental Art in the Eastern Bloc, 1960s–1980s

The new addition to the museum is a survey of experimental art made by almost 100 artists from six Central-Eastern European nations: East Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Romania and Yugoslavia. The exhibit examines how artists dealt with the strict rulings from their local governments by trying and mixing new and different art types. To face the tough realities of their daily lives, while also avoiding being caught or silenced by the authorities who closely watched them, they expressed their struggles in loud silence.

At 7:30 p.m., gala guests will enjoy dinner under the stars in the Dorrance Sculpture Garden with a jazz performance by Zazu West, an Arizona-based ensemble. From 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., pARTy guests and those with The Pink afterpARTy tickets are invited to continue the festivities in Cummings Great Hall.
