Nature Hike
The resort features a Window Walk Nature Trail, right in its backyard. This ½ mile scenic trail points out over 200 animals and plants native to Southern Arizona’s environment. The trail was created in partnership with the Tucson Botanical Gardens and the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum.

Natural Materials
The resort, designed by architect John Hill, is built using the dirt surveyed from the land, making the building blend in with its surroundings. From an aerial view, onlookers would hardly notice the resort as it matches the color and natural feel of the surrounding mountains and land. The natural elements speak to the aesthetics of Frank Lloyd Wright, a firm believer in nature-inspired architecture.
