student film fest

SASFF is set to premiere May 3 at the University of Arizona in the Gallagher Theatre and continue through the weekend at various other venues until Sunday, May 6. Bring together your friends and family to commemorate the myriad of young individuals who are taking their skills from the classroom and transforming them into motion picture magic before community audiences.

High school and college students are encouraged to join SASFF, highlighting their achievements behind the camera with short- and feature-length films (depending on category). So if you have a young YouTube star on your hands—or if you are a young artist yourself—who is eager to take it to the next level, don’t hesitate to submit your films for this year’s festival. Submissions are $15 until Feb. 16, $25 until March 17, and $35 until April 1. For students and adults who prefer a behind-the-scenes role, opt to volunteer—or even sponsor—a student as SASFF seeks to reach thousands of students across the state.
