Have you ever had a taste of the desert? Join us for the first annual food and drink festival, Sonoran Harvest: Taste the Desert! This event will focus on foods found in the Sonoran Desert and teach you how you can incorporate them into your daily life. Stand among the saguaros and sample delicious delights of the Southwest and sip on your favorite local brews. Watch as local chefs from favorite food trucks and restaurants battle to be crowned the Sonoran Harvest Queen or King. The best part? You get to vote for your favorite! Chefs are required to use prickly pear and/or mesquite. This way, you’ll really be able to taste the desert!

Participating restaurants and food trucks include: Alloro D.O.C. at Hilton Tucson East, featuring Chef Ginny Wooters: Ciao Down Food Truck, featuring Chef Paul Reyes and Chef David McCarthy; Craft Culinary Concepts, featuring Chef Weston Holland; Geronimo’s Revenge Food Truck, featuring Chef Mo Madril; Welcome Diner, featuring Chef Ian Rosales.

Activities: Boogie to the blues by Tom Walbank; Pun-tastic photobooth fun with Hello Gorgeous Photobooth; Stargazing with Adam Block; Stingray Touch; Giant Jenga; Tequila Tasting (additional cost); Chats with Community Partners.

Food + Alcohol tickets include: 5 food tastings from Craft Culinary Concepts, 6-8 food samples from participating restaurants, 2 drink tickets, and 4 samples in the Beer Garden.

Food only tickets include: 5 food tastings from Craft Culinary Concepts, 6-8 food samples from participating restaurants.

Early entry at 5:15 p.m., taste and drink before the crowds! Exclusive access to the Sonoran Supermarket Talk with our very own Jesús García, Desert Museum Education Specialist. A complimentary prickly pear margarita and an up close experience with our furry and feathered friends.
