November is a spectacular month for art and artist showcases in the Tucson vicinity.

Perhaps it’s the cool weather that brings art lovers to the city in droves, but it is the culture and creativity of the region for which they stay.

Riverfront Park in beautiful Oro Valley will host the 12th annual Arts Fest fine art festival. The festival will take place at Riverfront Park in Oro Valley from November 20 through the 21st. Exhibitions will be on display on Saturday from 9am-4pm & Sunday from 10 am-4pm. Cañada Del Oro Riverfront Park is located at 551 W. Lambert Lane Oro Valley, AZ.

Art appreciators and artists will convene for two days of the absolute finest in pastels, oil, watercolor, sculpture, mixed media, photography and so much more. There’s sure to be something for everyone. Admission is free so attendees are encouraged to bring the whole family for a weekend of upscale fine art, great food, live music and kids activities in the gorgeous setting of Riverfront Park in Oro Valley.

To further enhance the family-friendly nature of the event, magician John Coppin will be on hand to entertain kid and adult attendees of the event. John is a full-time performance artist with over 30 years of experience. He has entertained thousands of children and adults in Tucson and across the U.S. John’s shows are not only fascinating and fun, but also age-appropriate and focused on audience participation.

For further incentive to bring the family, JumpMaxx will be on hand with their incredibly fun and entertaining inflatable jumping castles, obstacle courses and kids’ activities. Kids are sure to enjoy spending a day at the park with all of the activities ArtsFest 2010 has to offer.
