The renovation, which kicked off in June, affected all 119 rooms, including its Presidential Suite, in addition to meeting and event spaces. The Mediterranean-inspired rooms have been brightened up with desert Earth tones, including beautiful touches of turquoise. Wood elements, gorgeous bedside lamps, fresh artwork and new linens also grace the updated rooms, as well as functional elements like additional electrical outlets.

The pool deck was also refreshed, making it a prime spot to take in a laidback weekend under the sun and towering palms. The mother-of-pearl pool is now complemented with striped lounge chairs and sleek umbrellas, inspired by old Hollywood glamour. (It is certainly easy to imagine Marilyn, Grace or Greta lazing in the rays here.) The jazzed-up cabanas, with a large wicker orbit bed accented by colorful pillows, are the ultimate retreat to take in some poolside cocktails and a delicious lunch (both the drink and cocktail menus were revamped, too, with wild arugula salad with pears and candied walnuts being a summery favorite) in utter comfort. Guests can even pull the curtains for extra privacy—for an afternoon snooze, perhaps.
