This Week: Tiger Woods to Phoenix after the Masters? Rumors or not...?
Although this has been a busy month for social fundraisers, many of my phone calls have been from people telling me about Tiger Woods’ secret visits to Phoenix. “You didn’t hear it from me..." they say, “but Tiger was definitely in town.” And some of the calls are from people I respect.
In this day and age of PR spin and when there are the realities of “look alikes” which celebrities often use to throw off the press.. It’s hard to tell what is rumor and what is actual truth.
The biggest rumor besides the one that Tiger may have been at the Meadows in Wickenburg being treated for sex addiction is that he and his agent Mark Steinberg flew into town on a private jet the night of his infamous accident and had a plastic surgeon and cosmetic surgeon fix his teeth and bloody lip.
I even had an acquaintance call me on the QT telling me her friend had a photo of Tiger being stitched up – taken from a security camera where tiger was treated. She asked me if I know what her legal rights were to the photos and video and if it would put the doctor in jeopardy, etc. She asked me where she could sell the photos – and she needed to be able to trust someone that wouldn’t give her name to the media.
Someone else even asked me if I could give Charles Barkley a message to give to Tiger because Tiger had changed his numbers.
Oh my what a tangled web. Now there’s another intriguing possibility. I’ve been told by two different acquaintances that there are two women in Phoenix who claimed to have a one night sexual romp with Tiger and they say they have proof. It’s from a wild night three years ago and they say they have the video. Part of the video is Tiger chasing them when he discovers there’s a camera involved. Anyway, these ladies, I have been told are keeping a low profile. And they allegedly suddenly have a large sum of money to open the restaurant of their dreams...Hmmm...
In December, Tiger's lawyers won an order blocking a London publication of any Tiger porn – and cautioned that no one should assume such photographs even exist. Is the night in Phoenix one of the tapes that doesn’t exist?
Now a celebrity friend of mine in Los Angeles tells me that Tiger will be returning to Phoenix after the Masters tournament – for follow up care for his Ambien addictions and the therapists will be treating him privately in a rented house. “I know this for sure,” she says. So I asked her if I could report this. “Absolutely but don’t use my name,” she replied.
And Oh- the girl who allegedly had the video tape and was chased by Tiger, also claims she was injured in that scuffle and added that to the bill of silence. Stay tuned...
