Kathy's scoop on how Larry and Kevin teamed up for National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.. 

Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Love decided to go bald in honor of  National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. And who better to shave Kevin’s head than Larry Fitzgerald the Arizona Cardinals superstar who has a passion for the cause.

Sporting a “Winston’s Barbershop” sweater over a handsome shirt and tie- the always fashionably dressed Larry began to shave Kevin’s head. “You’ve got a lot of grey up there man, “ joked Larry as he began to work away on Kevin’s new streamlined look. 

Kevin’s effort to bring awareness to breast cancer is “in honor of all the women who have had to shave their head because of chemotherapy. “

Larry, who wears his dreadlocks to honor the memory of his mother Carol who died of breast cancer- also helps raises funds for the Carol Fitzgerald Memorial Fund. In the spirit of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Larry has also worn pink cleats bearing his mother’s name and donated money for every ball he catches, touchdown he scores and followers he gains on Twitter and Facebook.
