Kathy reveals who was at the red carpet celebration...

A celebrity entrepreneur was superbly surprised with a grand 50th birthday celebration! Thinking he was going to a meet with his long time client and designer, David Neishbori was surrounded by a VIP crowd, flashing lights of cameras; and glitz and glamour at the Mint in Scottsdale. David, the owner of AZADI Fine Rugs,  is a superstar not only among the design community, but in all the the communities in which his galleries are located. ( I captured the photo of him above as his guests shouted "surprise". He's flanked by his mother Afkam and sister Farrah.) Yes, it was a party fit for a superstar!

The crowd of 100 VIP guests at the party were adorned with VIP passes around their necks for the invitation only celebration. David was adoringly greeted by friends, family, employees and top interior designers who were lined up on the proverbial red carpet at the entrance of The Mint for the glitzy party.

Partygoers toasted David during the “stellar” evening for his birthday and his success. The entrepreneur is known for his incredible galleries of unique and exquisite rugs. Many of the guests were those who turn to David as a leading international design resource for antique, transitional/Spanish, elegant/Tuscan and contemporary/modern rugs.

David's also known for his philanthropic nature. Being a part of the community is a major part of AZADI and David’s philosophy. He’s extremely passionate about giving back and is involved with many local and national charities and organizations.

David, born in Tehran, Iran, brought the family rug business (which dates back over 200 years) to the United States and expanded the business from Scottsdale to Telluride, Hawaii and Sedona. Along with his entrepreneurial success, David is passionate about making a difference one day at a time.. or rather .. one rug at a time!
Congratulations on your 50th birthday David- you are the toast of the town!
