So Wrong It's Right

I know you're laughing that I'm featuring a leather jacket in late May on an Arizona Web site. But this thing is just, something I have to share with the world.

On all accounts it's something that should repel me. It's vegetable-tanned lambskin, which makes me shudder. It's a biker jacket and I tend to gravitate toward flowy, gauzy white things. It has "Pearly Biker" written on it in mother of pearl buttons and rusty buttons, which doesn't even mean anything in America (apparently there's some Pearly King and Queen" tradition in London I'm not privy to). And the temp outside is hovering around 100 degrees.

But, please. Try to pretend you don't love this thing and wish it were hanging in your closet.
