On Saturday, August 17, Arizona Diamondbacks players Nick Ahmed, Luke Weaver, Steven Souza Jr. and Archie Bradley joined together at Chase field to give a small group of fans a unique fantasy football draft experience, all while raising funds to benefit various nonprofits. All proceeds raised go to Consider the Lily's efforts to build a new home for sex-trafficking survivors in the Philippines, D-Backs Give, the Phoenix Rescue Mission, Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, building a community center in the Dominican Republic through Striking Out Poverty, and Big League Impact Global Initiatives. Guided by Ahmed and Souza, attendees were given a one-of-a-kind tour of the underground clubhouse, locker room, physical therapy facilities, dugout, kitchen and private batting cages. The fans even got a chance to sit in the team’s coveted massage chairs!
