Jul. 30, 2016. Congratulations to Miss Texas Teen USA 2016 Karlie Hay on being crowned Miss Teen USA 2016.  Contestants from 50 states and the District of Columbia competed at The Venetian Theatre in Las Vegas, and the Miss Universe Organization made a great replacement of having an Athletic Wear Competition in Lieu of the Swimsuit Competition, a decision that was very popular, and added more excitement to the show.
