Mar. 5, 2015. Groundbreaking ceremony took place on the 35 acres the aquarium will be built on (next to Butterfly Wonderland) as guests enjoyed circus performances by The Circus School of Arizona, stage tribal dancing, and a hot air balloon. Live entertainment, lots of small bites and drinks were also on hand. OdySea Aquarium is set to open in 2016.
