May 10, 2019. Presented by the Sandra Day O'Connor Institute and the Ladies of the Court at Arizona Biltmore Resort, the 2019 Legacy Luncheon paid tribute to Sandra Day O'Connor, retired Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of the United States, who served from her appointment in 1981 until her retirement in 2006. She was the first woman to serve on the Court. Jill Biden, who was the Second Lady of the United States from 2008 - 2016, was the featured speaker at this year's luncheon. Dr. Biden discussed her new book Where The Light Enters, Building A Family, Discovering Myself. She also had an open conversation with The Honorable Ruth McGregor.
