"Cards for Caring" was held Saturday, March 21 at the Country Club of DC Ranch. This event was sponsored by the Little Legends & the Sperling Foundation. Money raised went to the Bowe Special Care Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of Scottsdale Shea hospital. The committee was made up of parents whose children spent time in the NICU. Little Legends is a parents support group who organize fundraisers, help promote awareness of the NICU and family activities for NICU graduates. Some of the events Little Legends has put on include Easter Egg Hunts, Photos with Santa and "Scoops of Love" which is an event held in conjunction with Kierland Commons, Cold Stone Creamery and Arizona's own Gin Blossoms.
