In partnership with the James Beard Foundation, Omni Scottsdale Resort & Spa at Montelucia hosted the 1st annual Desert to Dish, October 22-24, 2015. Festivities included true farm-to-table culinary dining experiences, a tour of Arizona farms, and one-of-a-kind interactive opportunities with six renowned chefs from across the country. Proceeds from Desert to Dish will support the James Beard Foundation's scholarship program and other educational initiatives. We started with the "Welcome Reception" at the Chef's Kitchen & Herb Garden, then the next day experienced farm excursions to Arizona's Microgreens, Blue Sky Organic Farm and ended with Arizona Cheese. That evening the "Supporting Culinary Dreams Reception" was held in the Camelback Presidential Suite. The final event was the Sonoran Showdown at the Valencia Lawn.
