Picture information

The Tempe Community Action Agency(TCAA) hosted its annual First Crush Charity Gala at the Tempe Center for the Arts on October 25, 2013. The event, presented by Jenny Norton & Bob Ramsey, included a delicious array of food items from Santa Barbara Catering Company, spirits from Four Peaks Brewing and Action Wine, and entertainment by Alice Tatum and the Alice Tatum Band. The Center's Gallery, which was a juried exhibition of the world's leading realism artists, was open to event attendees. Charitable activities included a large silent auction with over 100 items and a "food pantry" can sale with a chance to win prizes ranging from gift cards to designer watches. All proceeds benefit TCAA's efforts to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, deliver meals to the homebound, provide formula and diapers to infants, offer socialization programs for seniors and provide many other social services to the community's most vulnerable residents.
