Adorable Snickers and his sibling Twixie are 13-week-old Cattle Dog mixes that were brought to the Arizona Humane Society's through its Project Reachout Program in December of last year. This lifesaving program allows AHS to bring in pets from other shelters when they aren’t able to care for them medically and there is kennel space in the shelter for them.
This innovative program is just one example of different ways AHS works with other rescues to continue to try and save even more lives each day. As AHS continues to care for more pets than it has in the last 10 year, it is especially important to continue to come up with programs and collaborative efforts to ensure even more of the Valley's most vulnerable pets can be given a second chance at a great life.
Adorable little Snickers is a typical pup who is going to need lots of socialization, playtime and training in his future forever home. In honor of National Train Your Dog Month, AHS is offering 20% off in-home private lesson packages of 2 or more lessons, as well as 10% off group classes with code NTYDG at azhumane.org/training.
Interested adopters can meet sweet Snickers and his sister at AHS' Sunnyslope Campus location. Snicker's adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital.
