Surprisingly even more adorable in person than his cute photo, Chewy is a 10-year-old Chihuahua looking for his forever home. This sweet senior boy was surrendered to the Arizona Humane Society in October of this year due to his family's inability to continue caring for him. Although he has been through so much, Chewy is a resilient spirit with a lot of love to give.
After receiving a necessary dental surgery in AHS' trauma hospital, this spritely boy is back to his energetic self and now ready to find his new forever family. Chewy adores people and has never met a stranger, especially when pets and snuggles are involved. He rides well in the car, walks beautifully on a leash, is potty trained, and loves nothing more than cuddling up in the laps of all his people friends.
While he might be a little shy at first, Chewy is ready to enjoy his retirement years with a loving family. Interested adopters can meet cuddly Chewy at AHS' Sunnyslope Campus location. Chewy's adoption fee includes his neuter surgery, current vaccinations, a microchip, and a follow-up wellness exam with a VCA Animal Hospital.
