In 1968, Presley spent time in Apache Junction while shooting “Charro!”  He also grew a liking for Sedona’s red rocks while shooting “Stay Away, Joe” in 1968.  At the time, his pregnant wife Priscilla joined him on set, in addition to the entourage of other actor wives and girlfriends.

The beloved babe starred in more than 30 successful films, made history with his TV appearances, and rocked thousands of sold-out crowds during his infamous concerts.  Globally, he’s sold over one billion records—more than any other artist.  His talent, good looks, sensuality, and charisma were contagiously endearing, permanently winning the hearts of many hound dog die-hards.  He died at his Memphis home in 1977, but his legacy continues to prosper.  Join his fan club by experiencing the Valley’s Elvis exhibit—your suspicious mind won’t be wandering; it will be tough to resist falling in love with “The King.”
