Chang says you’ll want to search mom’s closet for wide-length jeans, peasant tops, the maxi-dress, collar necklaces, and medallions.

But don’t stress out about getting rid of those skinny jeans quite yet.

This fun, laid-back, feminine spring season allows you to take what you have and re-vamp it.  The fashionista suggests sticking to your skinnys and adding a colorful top.

“Infuse what you already own.”

Color is this season’s staple, so attempt adding some spice to your black and white wardrobe.

Yep, we’ll be seeing orange, hot pink, emerald green, and aqua-galore.  It’s that hint of color giving your look an eccentric edge.

“If not in clothes, accessorize.”

Pop some pink into jewelry, envelope handbags, and high-wasted thick belts—one of my personal favorite touches.  Then, invest in some sexy, sophisticated snakeskin—the stylish must-have for spring.

“You can take it to the office and it has a very rich feeling.”

Chances are, you’ll like the comforting feel of this fad: the thick heel.  Instead of a stiletto, the super-high-heel has a lot more weight.  To jazz up the practical look, sport the shoe with a mini-dress.

And oh, the mini…guys gotta love that look.

But it’s the not only dress you’ll be daring to dance in come spring.

“We’ve got our minis, we’ve got our maxis, and this season, we even half something called a ‘middy.’”

Meet the “middy.”  It’s a mid half-length skirt Chang says is the celeb pick of the season.  Just take it from fashion icons like Rachel Bilson.

“She’s always polished and put together.”

What Bilson won’t be rocking is this year’s no-nos.  The out list includes paisley, clear jewelry, and distressed jeans.

While you’re picking up the latest and greatest trends, don't forget some swag for your man.

The look for men is simple, clean, and put together.  Chang says your boy will want to rock that booty—find him some great t-shirts, plus jeans that really fit.
