Arizona Coyotes Day at Gilbert Farmer's Market

Town of Gilbert has proclaimed Jan. 11 as Arizona Coyotes Day! To celebrate, stop by the free family-oriented festival at the Gilbert Farmer's Market Jan. 11 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be Coyotes inflatables and a street hockey rink for children and representatives from the team including Howler, the Coyotes Crew and the Coyotes Street Team will be in attendance. Show your spirit by wearing your Coyotes gear!

Legends of Speed at Phoenix Art Museum

Through March 15, Phoenix Art Museum presents Legends of Speed, the Museum’s first major exhibition of racing cars. Legends of Speed will showcase an unprecedented selection of more than 20 cars spanning six decades and driven by some of the greatest drivers in the history of racing, such as A.J. Foyt, Mario Andretti, Dan Gurney, and Stirling Moss. The special-engagement exhibition is included with general admission.

ZooLights: Glow Wild

Through Jan. 19, Phoenix Zoo will light up 5:30 to 10:30 p.m. nightly during ZooLights. Over one million lights will light up the grounds of the zoo, as well as camel rides and a 200-ft. polar slide. Tickets start at $10.95.

Maricopa County Home & Garden Show

The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, returns to the Arizona State Fairgrounds on Friday, Jan. 10, through Sunday, Jan. 12. The show marks the return of the Tiny Homes Street of Dreams with smart technology, she sheds, man caves and farmhouse and rustic designs. The event is open Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. General admission tickets are $8 for adults; kids ages 3 to 12 are $2; kids under 2 are free. (A variety of discounted ticket options are available too.) On-site parking is $8.
