Spooktacular Hot Air Balloon Festival at Salt River Fields
Trust us when we say Halloween does not get much better than this. From 5 to 9:30 p.m., the Salt River Fields at Talking Stick will host 20 hot air balloons as they give out candy and soar through the air. Not only can attendees enjoy candy and hot air balloons, but there will also be live music, costume contests, a kid’s zone, balloon rides, haunted trails, fireworks, food, vendors and much more! Tickets range from $10 to $15 and can be purchased online.
Fall is in the Air at Uptown Plaza

AZ Drone Fest at Grand Canyon University
From 2 to 7:30 p.m., Grand Canyon University will host a film festival and family event. The film fest will showcase the best of Arizona’s aerial cinematography while families enjoy drone demonstrations, drone racing, vendors and more! Entrance to the family event is free with a boxed toy donation for Phoenix Children’s Hospital. Tickets to the film fest are $30 and can be purchased online.
Experience the Andes at the Musical Instrument Museum
From 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Musical Instrument Museum invites locals to learn more about South American culture. Attendees will have the opportunity to play Andean instruments, create a raft flute, enjoy Andean music performances, attend a Chilean dance workshop and much more!
